Miia
I don’t really expect anyone to respond to this topic since it's on the forums, but I thought it would be fun to post it just in case. For me, I play Closers because it’s one of the few online games that offers a fast-paced 2D side-scrolling experience. This genre is incredibly rare to come by in the MMO space. There’s something unique and exhilarating about the way Closers combines speed with intricate combat mechanics, making it feel like a mix of classic beat-’em-ups and more complex RPG elements. It’s not just a game; it’s an experience that’s hard to replicate elsewhere, which is why I appreciate the effort put into making a game like this available for fans of the genre. The fashion here is really nice too - I'm hoping they get into more of casual cosmetics in fashion, though since they tend to be either too fancy, too specific or too complex
Cresso
I decided to stop being a masochist/playing Elsword official, imo Elsword has the better gameplay being a more flat 2d scroller, aside from that closers has better everything else. Still could use more streamlining/QoL tho

Seha
I joined Code Closers in October 2019, if I recall correctly. Prior to that, I had been playing Mabinogi for years, but eventually grew tired of it for various reasons and quit . I began looking for new MMOs and remembered that a friend often used to share screenshots of his Violet and other characters with me. He had invited me to join the game, though at the time, I wasn't particularly interested. However, after some time when I had nothing else to play anymore, I decided to give it a try and I became hooked. I chose Seha as my first character, and to this day, he remains my main. I was immediately drawn to the game’s combination of anime aesthetics, side-scrolling gameplay (which reminded me of the Sonic games I enjoyed), as well as the story and overall theme. Fun fact: I had actually tried out Closers World long before Code Closers and Mabinogi, but I quit back then due to technical issues. I had a potato PC so it was very laggy at times and whenever I rapidly used Seha's skills, I would disconnect often, leading me to just quit the game, but I am so glad I somehow got to try it again through Code: Closers and despite me having to take several breaks in-between these past years, mostly due to irl priorities and a few other things. I am glad to be back again and enjoying the game to its fullest
